Job DescriptionWe are seeking an Assembly Process Engineer to join our team and play a key role in ensuring efficient assembly processes that deliver the high level of quality and reliability expected of our products. This position is responsible for process preparation, inspections, and quality assurance activities across molding, painting, and assembly operations.

Key Responsibilities

Process Engineering

  • Develop and maintain assembly process control plans, work standards, and engineering procedures.
  • Analyze production and quality data to identify process issues, variations, and improvement opportunities.
  • Perform root cause analysis for assembly-related defects and develop corrective and preventive actions.
  • Evaluate 4M (Man, Machine, Material, Method) changes and prepare Initial Sample Inspection Reports (ISIR) to verify process and product compliance.
  • Review customer and Quality Control test results and determine appropriate engineering actions.
  • Recommend improvements to process parameters, equipment, tooling, and work methods to improve quality, efficiency, and process stability.
  • Support process validation, new product launches, and manufacturing process changes.
  • Ensure measuring and testing equipment is properly calibrated and capable of supporting process requirements.

Process Quality & Technical Support

  • Evaluate incoming resin and paint materials for compliance with applicable specifications and process requirements.
  • Analyze molding conditions, including resin moisture and molded-part quality, to identify process-related abnormalities.
  • Evaluate painting process conditions, coating thickness, and quality results to identify process variations and corrective actions.
  • Analyze finished assembly products and test results to identify defects and manufacturing risks.
  • Determine product and process conformity based on engineering specifications, drawings, test results, and customer requirements.
  • Provide technical recommendations for nonconforming products and support corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to resolve manufacturing issues and continuously improve assembly process performance.
