Summary
Supervises a manufacturing assembly line in a second shift, ensuring production targets are met while overseeing team performance, safety, and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the assembly line to ensure production schedules are met
- Monitor employee performance and enforce safety, quality, and productivity standards
- Train and guide new team members on standard operating procedures, safety practices, and equipment use
- Identify and resolve production issues in real time to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to ensure smooth workflow
- Ensure proper documentation of attendance, shift reports, production metrics, and quality checks
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and safety reminders
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions
- Address employee concerns and escalate issues to management as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with 5S principles
- Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and internal safety protocols
