Assembly Technician
Summary
Assembles and tests production equipment from mechanical/electrical drawings in a manufacturing environment, ensuring performance before customer approval.
- Assemble production equipment based on manufacturing work instructions, mechanical drawings (or/and electrical wiring /wire harnessing based on circuitry blueprints and work instructions).
- Perform final test to qualify equipment performance before customer buy-off.
- Responsible for either mechanical / electrical / both mechanical & electrical assembly checkout of equipment modules, assemblies and sub-assemblies.
- Set-up production equipment and run final integration and test.
- Assist the Manufacturing Engineers in trouble shooting and improving on assembly efficiency to reduce cost.
- Carry out good housekeeping and work safety instructions.
Job Requirements:
- ITE with 2 years experience in machine production /assembly environment.
- Able to read electro-mechanical drawings.
- Preferably from semiconductor / general automation background.
