Assembly Technician (Semiconductor) | Yishun

Our client is a Singapore-based engineering and technology company specialising in engineering solutions and technical services for the semiconductor and microelectronics industry. They are looking for an Assembly Technician to support equipment assembly, testing, maintenance, and continuous improvement activities at their client site.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:30am – 6:00pm

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, clean, and pack equipment according to technical documentation and work instructions.
• Perform maintenance and servicing of equipment, tools, and consumables used in the production area.
• Assist in developing and updating assembly-related technical procedures.
• Support troubleshooting and analysis of customer complaint issues.
• Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, testing results, and technical documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices in assembly operations.
• Ensure work is carried out in accordance with quality and safety standards.

Requirements

• Minimum Nitec, Higher Nitec or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in the semiconductor or manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical assembly, testing, and related applications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
• Positive attitude, responsible, and able to work effectively in a team.
