Asset Management Analyst | 3-Months Contract | Central
Summary
The Asset Management Analyst will support trade lifecycle activities, including confirmation and settlement, while collaborating with trading desks and portfolio managers. This role requires experience in financial operations and familiarity with products like equities, fixed income, or derivatives.
About Our Client
Our client is a leading global financial services firm with a strong presence across international financial markets. For this role, candidates will be joining the Asset Management Operations team, supporting trade management and the full trade lifecycle and working closely with trading desks, portfolio managers and global operations teams.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage trade lifecycle activities including trade confirmation and settlement across markets and products.
- Support trading desks with day-to-day queries and business initiatives.
- Ensure trades are processed accurately and within internal/external cut-off times.
- Review processes and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Liaise with trading desks, portfolio managers, internal operations teams, brokers, custodians and vendors.
- Identify and escalate operational risks and issues where required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Operations / Middle Office within the financial services industry.
- Experience with one or more of the following products: Equities, Fixed Income, Futures or IRS.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and risk mindset.
- Proactive team player with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
