Asset Management Specialist
This position is located in the Asset Management (MOA) organization of the Operational Performance (MO) organization under the Strategy, Business Transformation and Customer Services office (M) which is part of the Chief Operating Officer's organization (K) at Bonneville Power Administration (BPA). The employee in this role is responsible for providing advice, guidance, and recommendations to management and other technical specialists on asset management related issues.
About the Position - Portland This position is located in Portland, OR which boasts huge spans of amazing trees, foliage, landscape, and everywhere you look you can appreciate beautiful greenery! As an Asset Management Specialist, you will: Provide leadership in the development and implementation of the overall enterprise asset management program involving BPA's various business lines (Facilities, Information Technology, Fed Hydro, Transmission, Fleet and Security) to promote the reliability, efficiency and economical use of all physical assets. Plan, implement, and evaluate the asset management programs across all BPA organizations, including defining requirements, and monitoring asset management program performance, and providing oversight of contractor activities when applicable. Provide authoritative advice, counsel, and guidance to BPA staff and management on all aspects of asset management. Provides leadership to BPA staff assigned to assist in program activities. Lead the development and implementation of enterprise asset management program objectives and initiatives to achieve BPA's goals and objectives. Oversee and monitor contractor performance and provides oversight of contractor activities to assure contractors are executing the project plans on time, within budget, and with satisfactory quality. Prepare periodic, BPA-wide reports on the condition and performance of BPA physical assets.
