Job summary
As a Trading Services Analyst in our operations support services team, you will execute and monitor core post-trade processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and strong control discipline. You will reconcile and resolve trade discrepancies with counterparties, maintain trade records in line with applicable standards, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that reduce risk and improve efficiency. You will partner with traders based in the United States and internal stakeholders to support daily trading activities and respond to trade-related inquiries.
Job responsibilities
- Perform daily reconciliations of trades, positions, and cash balances to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Investigate, document, and resolve breaks or discrepancies within agreed timelines
- Execute trade processing activities to support accurate and timely settlement across multiple financial instruments
- Monitor trade flows and identify, escalate, and remediate issues that may impact settlement
- Maintain accurate trade records and support audit-ready documentation practices
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk
- Partner with technology teams to support enhancements to trade processing workflows and systems
- Support operational risk management by following controls, reporting issues, and adhering to risk management policies
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3 years of experience in trade operations, financial services operations, or a closely related role
- Experience using trade processing and settlement platforms or similar operational systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience working with internal stakeholders and external counterparties
- Demonstrated ability to reconcile data, identify root causes, and resolve exceptions using structured problem-solving approaches
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a time-sensitive environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience following documented procedures and controls to support risk management and operational discipline
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience supporting a specific asset class (for example: equities, exchange-traded funds, or mutual funds)
- Experience using data analysis tools and automation skills (for example: Structured Query Language (SQL) and Python)
- Understanding of financial markets and the end-to-end trade lifecycle
- Experience driving process improvements (for example: documenting current-state workflows and implementing future-state changes)
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience aligning across teams to resolve operational issues in a global environment through cross-cultural communication and collaboration
- Developing experience using AI-powered analytics, workflow automation, or intelligent process tools to drive efficiency gains, reduce manual effort, or improve accuracy in operational processes
