Asset Management UK Co-ordinator

The opportunity:

This UK wide Asset Management initiative looks at all assets (except FM and DEX) across the business and uses data to inform new strategies that will increase productivity, simplify processes, and reduce costs.

We’re looking for someone who has experience in change management and an enthusiasm for continuous improvement. We need someone who can help lead the business to implement a new software asset lifecycle solution and be responsible for the database within. As part of this, we need someone who is analytical and can interpret data to form strategies. This person will be a focal point of this new asset database, supporting the set up of the new software (Indysoft), reviewing inputs, and ensuring process adherence.

What we’re looking for from you:

  • Someone who enjoys continuous improvement and new challenges
  • Can build on previous skills to implement a process set aligned to ISO 55000 series (Asset Management) (note this role excludes facilities management and information technology assets)
  • Support the building of the asset database on a new system, including system set up and process flows
  • Help cleanse and gather data available to build a robust database of all assets held
  • Conduct analysis of the data gathered in order to implement further improvements and to help the Asset Manager construct strategies
  • Support a new process set adherence and provide guidance to all asset owners on general queries
  • Provide support to the UK Asset Manager with activities including reporting and communications
  • Helps to generate and co-ordinate the asset management initiative communication plan
  • Collaborates with other internal departments to manage the introduction of new assets from both a physical and data perspective.

Essential Skills

  • A good people person who can assist in driving change and communicate effectively
  • Has strong IT acumen with the ability to learn new systems fast
  • Good organisational skills
  • A confident communicator

Experience:

  • Data analysis
  • Knowledge in asset management (ISO55001) or maintenance planning is ideal
