Position summary statement:
The Assistance Engineering Manager responsible for overseeing and executions of the overall operational efficiency and other appropriate ACMV, Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Plant equipment operations and Maintenance operations inclusive of CAPEX expenditures and Asset Enhancement Initiatives (AEI) projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Plan and monitor Serviced Suites Preventive Maintenance program (PPM) program is diligently executed.
- Manage all Third Party Term Contractors contracts maintenance schedule are executed and scope of works, term and conditions as specified and agreed in the Service contracts.
- Monitors and controls expenses within all areas of the department. Participate in the preparation of the annual departmental operating budget and financial.
- Ensure Capital expenditures projects are executed timely as planned.
- Manage the daily activities of the department. Plan and organize work communicate goals, and schedule employees to ensure proper coverage.
- Analyze monthly Engineering activities to improve operating standard and minimize downtime.
- Initiate corrective and periodic maintenance to site specific requirement.
- Formulate Training blueprint to ensure all staff is properly trained and have tools and equipment needed to effectively carry out their respective job duties.
- Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments. May assist with other duties as assigned and may serve as “manager on duty” as required.
- Maintain and repair the interior and exterior of buildings, plants and equipment, Suites rooms and contents.
- Establish and maintain procedures to:
- Ensure the security of inventory and assets such as tools, supplies, equipment, furniture, television etc.
- Replenish supplies and inventory in a timely and efficient manner
- To minimize wastage
- Assisting the Risk management requirements necessary to ensure that the Serviced Suites, employees and guests are protected against any emergency crisis outlined in the Risk Management Manual.
- Ensure the implementation of Energy/Water conservation measure and initiative to achieve agreed target reduction.
Requirement:
- At least 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience, with at least 3 years in the hospitality industry in a managerial position
- Degree in a related field/ or at least a Technical Diploma
