Assistant/Associate Athletic Trainer
Summary
Provides medical care and injury prevention for college athletes, coordinating with coaches and healthcare providers to manage student-athlete health and safety.
The Assistant/Associate Athletic Trainer works under the supervision of the Associate Athletic Director for Sports Medicine and supervises the care of student-athletes competing in the College’s athletic programs. The Assistant/Associate Athletic Trainer is responsible for the prevention, evaluation, management of injuries within the College’s comprehensive sports medicine program.
Essential Functions:
- Prevention of athletic injuries and illness.
- Evaluation and treatment of athletic injuries.
- Athletic training administrative duties
- Assist with coordination and scheduling of medical coverage for home and away competitions.
- Recordkeeping and documentation.
- Work with doctors and other allied health professionals to deliver care to student-athletes

- Other duties assigned by the Associate Athletic Director for Sports Medicine and Director of Athletics.
