Position Summary The Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine is seeking forward-thinking, team-oriented family physicians who are willing to engage in the continued advancement of our practice as a high-quality primary care model using principles of continuous quality improvement. The Assistant/Associate Professor of Clinical Family and Community Medicine position is for full- or part-time, non-tenure track clinical physician faculty. Duties Responsibilities The University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine invites applicants for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor of Clinical Family and Community Medicine in the Department of Family and Community Medicine. The position is for full-or part-time, non-tenure track clinical physician faculty._x000D_ • Opportunities encompass a full range of outpatient, inpatient, and pregnancy care services, though all may not be required._x000D_ Teaching medical students will be an essential part of the outpatient practice._x000D_ • We seek energetic, forward-thinking, team-oriented family physicians who are willing to engage in the transformation of our practice into a high-quality primary care model using principles of continuous quality improvement. This position will start initially as primarily clinical, with an expectation of approximately 80% of effort devoted to direct patient care at the University Village Family and Community Medicine Center, UI Health Pilsen Family Health Center Lower West, and/or the University of Illinois Hospital._x000D_ Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
