Assistant/Associate/Professor of Clinical Pediatrics-Infectious Disease

Position Summary Provide clinical care to patients admitted to Children's Hospital of Illinois and associated ambulatory clinics. Participate in teaching medical students and residents, and scholarly activities. Duties Responsibilities Provide clinical services (inpatient and outpatient). Participate in teaching medical students, residents, and other health professionals. Conduct clinical and/or translational research in the field of Pediatric Infectious Disease. Participate in infection prevention and antibiotic stewardship committees. Provide phone consultations for other hospitals and Pediatric offices in Illinois. Provide guidance for community outbreaks (ie: measles and tuberculosis). This a faculty position which requires clinical care, teaching medical students and residents, research, and scholarly activities. Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
