Duties and responsibilities related to the Assistant Back of House Manager role
Support the BOH Manager in daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow across all BOH areas.
Supervise stewarding team activities, ensuring tasks are completed to required standards while guiding and supporting staff.
Ensure open and effective communication with other departments for a cohesive and efficient workflow.
Foster a culture of teamwork and excellence, actively supporting colleagues to achieve departmental objectives and maintain a high level of service quality.
Oversee inventory and stock levels of cleaning supplies and chemicals, placing orders as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Execute and manage weekly deep cleaning schedules for all Back of House (BOH) areas and kitchens, consistently maintaining impeccable hygiene standards.
Support the Back of House Manager in implementing waste management strategies to reduce environmental impact, optimize resource utilization, and improve recycling programs.
Supervise the cleaning and maintenance of all BOH spaces, including fixtures, fittings, and high-end equipment.
About you
Proven experience in luxury food and beverage operations, with strong leadership and management skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire a team. You will have excellent knowledge of food and beverage trends, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
