OVERVIEW: The job is responsible for: The Beverage Manager oversees all aspects of the beverage service operation within Boca West Country Club, ensuring exceptional service, quality, and profitability. This role manages the beverage team, maintains inventory, enforces policies, and enhances member and guest experiences through expert knowledge of beverages and strong leadership.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Develop and implement beverage menus in collaboration with culinary and management teams, incorporating current trends and member preferences.
· Supervise daily beverage operations across dining, bar, and event areas, ensuring high standards of service and presentation.
· Lead, train, and motivate beverage staff to deliver outstanding customer service, maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, and foster a positive team environment.
· Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to optimize costs and minimize waste.
· Monitor and analyze beverage sales, revenue, and expenses; prepare reports and budgets.
· Ensure adherence to all legal and safety regulations related to alcohol service, including responsible alcohol service policies.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with members, guests, vendors, and staff.
· Plan and execute special events, promotions, and tastings to enhance member engagement and revenue.
· Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and best practices to continuously improve offerings and service standards.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and TRAINING:
· Proven experience as a Beverage Manager, Bar Manager, or similar leadership role in a luxury hospitality setting.
· Extensive knowledge of wine, spirits, beer, and cocktails.
· Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
· Ability to manage budgets, inventory, and staff effectively.
· Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to alcohol service.
· Friendly, professional demeanor with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
· Certification in Responsible Alcohol Service (e.g., TIPS, SERVSAFE) preferred.
