- Find New Contracts: Check procurement websites every day for new project notices, pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs), and expressions of interest in the energy and gas sectors.
- Handle Client Questions: Log and track all official questions sent to and from utility clients during the bid, making sure your team answers them on time.
- Write Basic Answers: Draft standard text for the bids, focusing on our company history, health and safety records, gas/electricity compliance standards, and environmental policies.
- Organise Bidding Files: Keep the central bid library updated with fresh project photos, gas/power case studies, staff CVs, and successful past answers.
- Keep Meetings on Track: Book progress meetings, write down action points, and chase engineering and estimating team members to make sure they finish their parts on time.
- Gather Supplier Info: Contact specialist subcontractors and equipment suppliers to collect their safety certificates, insurance details, and signed confidentiality agreements.
- Check for Mistakes: Read through final tender packs to ensure every single form, financial sheet, and appendix requested by the client is included.
