Assistant BIM Manager

Job Responsibilities :

Model Coordination
Coordinate BIM models across architectural, structural, civil and M&E disciplines
Facilitate clash detection and model coordination meetings
Monitor the resolution of design conflicts

Quality Assurance
Review BIM models to ensure compliance with project standards and client requirements
Maintain model accuracy, completeness and consistency

Project Coordination
Work closely with project managers, consultants, subcontractors and BIM Coordinators
Ensure timely submission of BIM models and project deliverables

BIM Software Management
Support the administration of BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) Civil 3D (where applicable)

Documentation Management
Assist in preparing BIM reports, model audits, coordination records and project documentation
Maintain the Common Data Environment (CDE)

Technical Support
Provide guidance to BIM Coordinators and BIM Modellers on modelling standards and best practices
Troubleshoot BIM-related technical issues

Compliance
Ensure BIM deliverables comply with company standards, client specifications and regulatory requirements
Support compliance with relevant BIM standards such as ISO 19650 where applicable

Job Requirements :

Diploma / Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Construction Management or related field
Minimum 5 to 8 years of BIM-related experience in the construction industry
Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Navisworks, AutoCAD
Knowledge of BIM standards, clash detection, model federation and digital project delivery
Strong communication and coordination skills
Problem solving and analytical thinking
Good time management and organisational skills
