RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support discussions with internal teams, customers, partners, and vendors to gather and understand project-specific business and technical requirements
- Assist in documenting requirements and preparing project specifications, including Requirements, Design, and Interface Specifications
- Support the analysis of business processes and system workflows, identifying potential issues and operational impacts
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Project Managers, Solution Architects, developers, QA, and deployment teams throughout the solution development lifecycle
- Assist in preparing and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validation activities
- Support the investigation and analysis of issues encountered during testing and solution releases
- Assist in proposing practical solutions and workarounds for identified issues
- Contribute to the review and improvement of system performance, robustness, and scalability
- Assist in tracking and providing updates on project progress, risks, and issues to the Business Analyst, Project Manager, and relevant stakeholders
- Support stakeholder communication, change management, and post-deployment activities as required
PRE-REQUISITES
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or related role; experience in government, automation, or security technology projects is an advantage
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to understand and clarify requirements effectively
- Good documentation and writing skills, with the ability to prepare requirements, use-case, and project-related documents
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in understanding business processes and system workflows
- Ability to organise, prioritise, and manage tasks in a project environment
- Proactive, adaptable, and willing to learn, with good attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Experience or knowledge in border control systems, biometrics, automation, or public sector IT projects will be an advantage
