ASSISTANT BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ANALYST

Job description:

Responsibilities

• Proactively collaborate with business units to identify opportunities for GenAI (LLMs) and/or Predictive Models and assist in designing (or refining) GenAI system prompts to ensure accurate, brand-aligned, and hallucination-free outputs
• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) and profiling to assess data readiness (clean, consistent, and unbiased) and identify trends, gaps, and optimization opportunities before development begins
• Translate technical model outputs into actionable business insights through data storytelling
• Manage the backlog and map data flows to prioritize features based on business value and ensure data lineage and integrity
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to align project requirements and business impact
• Analyze existing digital processes and systems to identify and recommend areas for improvement and optimization
• Translates business goals into technical/functional requirements, user stories and clear documentation for data engineers and developers
• Perform any duties as assigned by the management team of Build King Group

Requirements

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related disciplines
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT Business Analyst or in a similar role
• Strong Problem-solving, multi-tasking , analytical, and communication skills
• Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and organization skills
• Work independently, and as be a good team player
• Understanding of basic AI concepts (Machine Learning lifecycles, NLP, LLMs or GenAI limitations) is a strong advantage
• Technical / Programming background in SQL, Python or visualization tools such as PowerBI/Tableau/FineBI is an advantage
• With relevant certifications e.g. PMP, Prince2, Scrum Master (CSM/PSM), or relevant Data/AI certifications are a plus
