Assistant Chief CRNA - Full-time

Role Overview

NorthStar Anesthesia is seeking an Assistant Chief CRNA to support clinical leadership and daily anesthesia operations at Norton Downtown. This role partners with the Chief CRNA and anesthesia leadership to support provider engagement, staffing coordination, quality initiatives, and efficient clinical operations while maintaining an active clinical practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Chief CRNA in leading and mentoring the CRNA team.

• Assist with staffing coordination and daily operational needs.

• Promote clinical quality, patient safety, and provider accountability.

• Foster teamwork, communication, and provider engagement.

• Collaborate with hospital and NorthStar leadership to address operational challenges.

• Support recruitment, candidate site visits, and onboarding.

Case Mix: Diverse surgical practice including general anesthesia, cardiac, and OB, with associated call responsibilities.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $227,000 base salary

• $13,000 acuity incentive

• $6,000 quality incentive

• $6,000 Assistant Chief stipend

• 8 weeks PTO
