Assistant Civil & Structural Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing a team of Structural coordinators and BIM Modellers in the design and coordination works;

  • Design, analysis and plan for Civil & Structural engineering works

  • Prepare design calculations, drawings and carry out Authority submissions

  • Responsible for timely submission of plans and reports to Consultant and Authorities

  • To coordinate & liaise with consultant, sub-con and other trades eg M&E and architectural for projects specifications & other technical issues

  • To assist in project coordination and oversee of all structural/Civil works on site and ensure all related activities are carried out as per drawings

  • Attend meetings inclusive technical meetings (not withstanding to minutes down the meeting if necessary) and site walks during the construction phase of project

  • Keep track of test reports, tests, ST, Green Mark scheme and constructability scheme

  • Document control and compilation accordance to company ISO standard

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering / Building

  • Good knowledge of Structural specifications & requirements

  • Min 5-8 years’ of relevant working experiences in main contractor companies or consultancy firm or large scale project

  • Strong in design concept, familiar with Eurocodes and local authorities submission.

  • Highly motivated and independent with excellent team spirit and communication skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills
