Lead a small clinical team at our Early Learner Center in Albany while building toward your BCBA.

Animate Behavior is a BCBA-owned, boutique ABA agency serving the Greater Bay Area. As an Assistant Clinical Supervisor, you'll oversee daily clinical and administrative operations for our center-based program, supervise three to eight RBTs, and work side by side with our Clinical Supervisors on assessments, treatment planning, and staff training. Clinical quality, ethical practice, and staff support come first here.

Why you'll love it here

  • $72,500 to $77,500 per year, depending on experience and education
  • Direct mentorship from senior BCBAs, with supervised fieldwork and coursework support toward BCBA certification
  • Real leadership experience: supervise RBTs, run BST, and shape treatment programs
  • Consistent weekday daytime schedule at one location, with no driving between client homes
  • Benefits: medical, dental, and vision insurance; SIMPLE IRA with company match; paid time off and paid sick time; paid training; professional development support; life insurance; Employee Assistance Program; referral bonuses

What you'll do

  • Clinical: assist with assessments, observe sessions, monitor treatment fidelity and IOA, and recommend program changes to your Clinical Supervisor
  • Programming: propose goals and protocols, graph and analyze data weekly, and summarize client progress
  • Training: coach staff and caregivers on new or revised protocols using BST
  • Supervision: provide BACB-compliant supervision to BTs and RBTs and support evaluations, note audits, and competency renewals
  • Direct service: about 75% of your time, including covering sessions to keep clients' hours on track
  • Center operations: help with daily scheduling and coverage, keep onsite office hours, and finalize timesheets and appointments daily

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • At least 1,200 supervised fieldwork hours toward BCBA or BCaBA certification, including at least 500 unrestricted hours
  • At least 2 years of experience providing behavior-analytic services under a BCBA, across home, school, center, or community settings
  • Knowledge of developmental milestones and early childhood education experience
  • Organized, a clear communicator, and ready to lead a team
  • Preferred: BCaBA credential or completed BCaBA-level coursework

Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday daytime hours, in person at our Albany Early Learner Center.

Employment is contingent on meeting standard health and immunization requirements for working with young children.
