Assistant Construction Manager
Valley View hospital is hiring for an Assistant Construction Manager to assist the Construction department in implementing and accomplishing departmental goals, processes, and objectives!
GENERAL OBJECTIVES
- Functions as Owners’ Representative in all construction projects.
- Assists the Construction department in implementing and accomplishing departmental goals, processes, and objectives.
- Supports project management responsibilities for VVH construction projects and manages projects as assigned by the Project Manager.
- Supports the relationships at all levels of construction to minimize impact on the hospital’s function of providing services 24/7/365.
- Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Coordinates construction activities across multiple divisions.
- Exhibits professional behavior, respect, and etiquette when collaborating with hospital and/or community leadership as appropriate.
- Participates in the exchange of ideas, information, and opinions to arrive at decisions and solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- College degree or equivalent experience preferred
Experience:
- At least 2 years’ experience in related project management or support preferred
- Healthcare construction experience strongly preferred
Skills:
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
- Able to maintain positive and cooperative working relationships with team members
- Exhibits creativity and innovation in solving problems; must be broadly focused and able to manage multiple efforts concurrently
SALARY RANGE
- $76,460.80 to $112,444.80/annually
- Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
