WSP is looking for a Procurement Coordinator to join our Procurement & Contract Management team on a contractual role for 6 months. This role is ideal for a candidate interested in developing a career in project procurement within a dynamic, multidisciplinary professional services environment.

The Procurement Coordinator provides administrative and coordination support to project procurement teams, contributing to the smooth execution of procurement activities while gaining exposure to supplier qualification, supplier coordination to complete the supplier qualification for high and medium risk suppliers

This role offers strong learning, mentoring, and progression opportunities within Project Procurement team.

Under the guidance of senior procurement professionals, the Procurement Coordinator will:

  • Perform supplier qualification in accordance with WSP policies and guidelines.

  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure completion of qualification documentation within the designated turnaround time.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and the HSEQ team to complete qualification for medium- and high-risk suppliers.

  • Prepare and execute a plan to complete pending supplier qualifications and provide daily/weekly progress reports.

  • Coordinate with project teams, suppliers, finance, and internal stakeholders to support timely procurement execution.

  • Maintain accurate and complete procurement records, logs, and documentation in accordance with internal procedures.

  • Support supplier onboarding activities, including documentation follow-up and compliance tracking.

  • Ensure procurement activities are conducted in alignment with WSP procurement policies, approval thresholds, and delegation of authority.

  • Support reporting, data entry, and general administrative tasks for the Procurement team.

  • College diploma or bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field

  • Strong interest in procurement, supply chain management, or contract administration

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP Oracle systems is an asset

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English as well as in French.

  • Strong interpersonal, analytical and organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a project‑based environment

  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as working independently

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Working hours would be from 1.00pm IST to 10.00pm IST which would give minimum 4 hours overlap with EDT/EST as job role requires.
