POSITION: Assistant Cook

SALARY: $20.54 - 21.54/hour

REPORTS TO: Cook Senior

LOCATION: Nespelem Senior Meal Site

BASIC FUNCTIONS: This is an non-exempt position assists the senior center head cook with the planning, preparing and serving of nutritionally balanced, cost-effective meals to be served in a congregate setting and delivered to clients at their homes. The Assistant Cook provides assistance with menu planning, food purchases, and maintaining sanitary conditions at the senior center. Employee must have good understanding of senior citizens need, establish and maintain working relationships with clients, co-workers, other program or agency staff and the general public.
