Assistant Cost Manager
MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE:
- To support the Cost Management team, taking responsibility for allocated tasks.
- To help us provide excellent service delivery to our clients, gain their trust and enhance our reputation.
- To help us ensure that client objectives are met through the delivery of an effective cost management service from pre contract to construction completion.
KEY EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of and experience in the Real Estate sector.
- Knowledge of the Cost Management / Quantity Surveying profession.
- Basic experience in estimating and preparation of Bills of Quantities.
- Professional approach and confident in your ability to add value to our team.
- Ability to work with others and accept instruction in a team environment.
- Willingness to listen and learn and develop your skills.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Estimating and preparation of Bills of Quantities.
- Taking personal responsibility for work produced.
- Assisting the team to ensure accurate and timely production of information and reports.
- Interfacing with team members in a professional manner.
- A desire to progress your career to the next level.
- Proficiency in cost management software, particularly CostX or similar tools
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar.
- Desire to obtain Professional membership i.e. MRICS.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of the construction industry.
