Assistant Director of Facilities - All Locations

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position supports the work of the Woodson YMCA, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, through hands-on and oversite of the maintenance and improvements of all branch facilities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Provides coordination of facility, grounds, and vehicle maintenance, including planning and developing preventative maintenance in connection with Sr. Facilities Director.
• Anticipates risk, implications, and outcomes before acting.
• Is hands-on with daily repairs and maintenance as a member of the maintenance team.
• Completes repair work and projects in a timely manner.
• Serves as a specialist with regards to all facility and grounds.
• Maintains supply levels for all facility related supplies.
• Ensures that safety and OSHA guidelines are being followed.
• You will be part of a team of maintenance members that ensure the safety of work-related duties.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
