Assistant Director of Nursing - Basic Care

The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) is responsible for promoting and maintaining quality resident care through effective management with collaboration of the Director of Nursing. The ability to work both independently and with others, and strong communication skills are a must.

• Must have current North Dakota licensure as a Register Nurse (RN) or Licensed Nurse (LPN).
• BLS certification required.
• Geriatric experience preferred.
• Prior management experience preferred.
• Skilled with critical thinking and problem-solving skills to overcome each challenge that may occur.

• Ability to demonstrate leadership, managerial skills, and the application of strong interpersonal relationships and principles of supervision and administration.
• Must possess skills in communication, leadership, education, and be able to motivate the team.
• Must be flexible in hours and shifts. 12- hour shifts are required weekly, along with every 3rd weekend.
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and comfortable working independently as well as with others.
