Assistant Engineer
Summary
Assists senior engineers with project planning, technical drawings, site inspections, and quality control in construction projects using AutoCAD and MS Office.
Project / Tender Support:
- Prepare and assist senior engineers in developing project plans, schedules, and documentation during project or tender phase, demonstrating understanding of project management methodologies.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors as needed.
- Support site inspections and quality control checks.
Technical Assistance:
- Understand client’s requirement and prepare engineering calculations and drawings under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Prepare and assist in the selection and specification of equipment and materials.
- Research and analyze technical data.
Quality Assurance:
- Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure project compliance.
- Prepare and implement method of statement and processes for quality assurance.
- Coordinate and carry out testing and commissioning activities to ensure systems are operational and meet performance requirements.
- Prepare operational and maintenance manuals and as-built drawing for project handover.

Requirements:
- 0 to 1 years of relevant experience as Mechanical Engineer in Construction industry
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Proficiency in AutoCad and MS Office
- Skill in AutoCad Revit is an advantage
- Proficient in both written and verbal English communication
- Organized, responsible, good team player and initiative with positive work attitude
- Willing to learn and coordinate between different trades
- Able to work under pressure, meet deadline and do overtime if necessary
