Assistant Engineer (Costing)
Summary
Creates manufacturing cost estimates for mechanical parts using SolidWorks and CNC machining knowledge, coordinating with suppliers to finalize material and process specifications.
Job Responsibilities
Create child part drawings using SolidWorks.
Prepare the Bill of Materials (BOM) for RFD.
Define raw material specifications, including size, treatment, sub-contracting process, and standard parts.
Coordinate with SCM to obtain quotations.
Consolidate all information into the costing format.
Job Requirements
Higher NITEC or Diploma holder in Mechanical or Precision Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience.
Understanding of CNC machining, SolidWorks (or similar CAD software), manufacturing processes, surface treatments, and materials.
Other information:
Working Hours : 8.15am to 5.30pm (Mon-Fri)
Location : Changi North
Company Bus : Pick up at Ang Mo Kio, Yishun, Hougang, Punggol, Pasir Ris, Bedok, Tampines MRT/Interchanges
