Assistant Engineer – Data Analyst
Summary
Designs and builds data-analysis tools to extract trends from large datasets, creates visualizations, and reports insights for stakeholders in a government-owned utility.
Bachelors in Computer Science / Engineering with at least 02 – 03 years of experience in data science having analytical skills and the ability to identify trends, patterns and insights from data. Candidate shall have basic understanding of database such as Oracle.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and implement data analysis tools and techniques to process large amounts of data efficiently
- Responsible for entering and editing data in work tools as per specified guidelines and checklists.
- Conduct statistical analyses, create data visualizations, and prepare reports to communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Work closely with business and technical teams to identify data requirements and design data structures and models to support analysis
- Collaborate with data architects and engineers to design, build and maintain data pipelines and data warehouses
- Apply advanced knowledge of data mining, machine learning, and statistical modeling to support data-driven decision-making
- Develop and maintain data quality standards and ensure data accuracy and consistency
- Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in data analysis, and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
