Assistant Executive Housekeeper - Courtyard Evansville
The Courtyard by Marriott Evansville East is seeking a dynamic Assistant Executive Housekeeper to lead all aspects of housekeeping services for the hotel. As part of the hotel management team, you will have the opportunity to shape world-class experiences for our guests, ensure guest and employee satisfaction, and maintain profitability within the housekeeping department. This is a high-energy position, and we are looking for a motivated individual to take the team to the next level.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Manage the daily activities of the Housekeeping and Laundry department to include appropriate cleaning of all public areas as well as guest rooms.
Provide supervision to Laundry staff and ensures the efficiency and effectiveness of the operation
Monitor, manage and respond to guest requests and concerns, ensuring that they are handled in a timely and professional manner
Develop and monitor schedules for the housekeeping department. Recruiting, hiring, and training team member to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
Work closely with all departments to ensure efficient operations. Serve on Hotel Leadership Team to represent the interests of the housekeeping function.
Develop and implement programs that assure a safe facility and work environment.
Ensure the proper maintenance of all equipment; makes arrangements for repair and/or replacement of used and damaged equipment.
Conduct inventory of housekeeping supplies and prepare purchase requests to ensure that the housekeeping area is stocked and organized.
Oversee the safe management of the Lost and Found, verifying proper record keeping and safety of items
Required Qualifications & Skills
Minimum of 1 year experience supervising/managing a housekeeping department in a hospitality setting.
