Assistant Finance Manager
Join a fast-growing private fund managing multi-asset investments across public and private markets.
Our Client is looking for a hands-on Assistant Finance Manager to take ownership of fund accounting, investment reporting and financial operations, while partnering closely with senior stakeholders to drive accuracy, efficiency and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead fund accounting, NAV preparation and cash/position reconciliations.
Own monthly portfolio performance and investment reporting.
Monitor investment performance, portfolio returns, risk metrics and benchmarks.
Drive process improvements, data integrity and reporting enhancements.
Prepare investor packs and materials for Investment Committee & Board meetings.
Manage statutory and regulatory reporting, including GST, KYC/AML and annual filings.
Support portfolio monitoring and other ad-hoc finance and investment operations initiatives.
What We're Looking For:
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics.
5–7 years' relevant experience in fund accounting, investment reporting or investment operations.
Strong knowledge of investment products, financial markets and multiple asset classes, including equities, fixed income and alternatives.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; Bloomberg or portfolio management systems experience is advantageous.
Self-motivated, hands-on and able to work independently in a fast-paced investment environment.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
