The Role
We are looking for a commercially minded Assistant Finance Manager to join our Dubai team and play a key role across financial management, reporting, compliance, business operations and strategic financial analysis.
Reporting to the Head of Finance & Business Operations, you'll work closely with senior stakeholders, the company's founders and the wider finance function to ensure the Group's financial processes are accurate, efficient and well managed across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
This is a broad finance role that goes beyond traditional accounting, with exposure to international entities, taxation, payroll, regulatory requirements, investment analysis, financial planning and commercial decision making.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing multi-entity accounting, including month end, year end and group consolidation.
- Preparing management accounts, financial reporting, budgets and forecasts.
- Maintaining accurate reconciliations, financial controls and processes across the Group.
- Supporting and coordinating the work of the accountant and external finance providers.
- Partnering with the Head of Finance & Business Operations and senior stakeholders on financial and commercial decisions.
- Working directly with the company's founders on financial, investment and personal financial analysis.
- Developing financial models and analysis to support strategic decision making.
- Managing financial, tax, payroll and regulatory requirements across UK and EU entities.
- Coordinating external accounting, tax, payroll and professional services providers across multiple jurisdictions.
- Maintaining oversight of key compliance, tax and regulatory deadlines.
- Overseeing commission and revenue recognition and related financial reporting.
- Analysing revenue, performance and financial trends to support commercial decision making.
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience in multi-entity and group accounting.
- Experience working across multiple jurisdictions, including UK and EU entities.
- Familiarity with UK and EU payroll, taxation and regulatory requirements.
- Experience managing external accounting, tax and payroll providers.
- Understanding of commission and revenue recognition, ideally within a brokerage or financial services environment.
- Strong financial analysis and financial modelling skills.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and supporting commercial decision making.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- Commercially minded, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced, international business.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across different entities and jurisdictions.
If you're a commercially focused finance professional looking for a broad role with exposure to senior stakeholders, international entities and strategic financial decision making, we'd love to hear from you.
