Assistant Finance Manager
Role Purpose:
Assist Senior Finance Manager in areas of planning and managing, audit, tax, accounting and financial functions and corporate exercise
Responsibilities
- Co-lead the internal finance team and work with external investment bankers, lawyers, and auditors to execute the timeline.
- Financial Reporting & Restructuring: Prepare financial data, track record reports, and proforma statements under IFRS or local standards. Internal Controls Enhancement: Upgrade accounting policies, governance frameworks, and financial controls to satisfy & comply with statutory requirements. Due Diligence Support: Manage financial due diligence processes, answer auditor queries, and resolve historical accounting adjustments. Familiar with project closing, percentage of completion method, WIP movement.
- Provide analysis to management and business units to make informed decisions aimed.
- Assist with cash flow management, budgeting processes, and long-term financial planning to support business growth objectives.
- Identify opportunities for improving finance processes, controls, and reporting efficiency by leveraging your technical expertise.
- Provide guidance to the finance team members to ensure effective execution of finance activities while supporting senior management on ad hoc financial analysis.
- Support and undertake ad hoc tasks/projects as assigned.
Requirements
• Preferable Degree in Finance/Accounting
• Preferably Professional Qualifications: Hold a recognized professional certification like CA, CPA, ACCA, or CIMA.
•Preferably Prior exposure to IPOs, listings, due diligence or capital market-related projects will give you a distinct advantage in this environment. Big 4 audit experience is strongly valued. Soft Skills: Strong communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills to deal with high-pressure timelines and executive leadership
