Assistant Finance Manager (Trade Account Payable)

The challenge is to:

• Monitor and provide support to team head on daily operations of AP and payment finance function, vendor queries, and disputes
• Perform monthly balance sheet review, review monthly reports, journals and carry out financial analysis
• Partner with respective business units to provide advice and support for operational decision making and strategic planning
• Assist in preparation of interim and year-end financial reports and audit schedules
• Support on ad hoc analysis/projects related to new business initiatives
• Monitor and manage the service quality of outsourced service providers
• Participate in UAT on new ERP systems, and prepare workflows and SOPs to users
• Plan team meetings, workshops and trainings for finance users (including outsourcing teams)
• Assist in continuous improvement of accounting process and procedures
• Participate in audit preparation for year-end audited statutory accounts
• Support ad hoc analysis / projects related to new business initiative

Do you have experience in Account Payable Operations?

• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or related fields
• Qualified member of HKICPA or equivalent
• Minimum 5-year of working experience in accounting. Experience in retail / FMCG / Trading sector highly preferred
• Good command of written and verbal English and Chinese
• Expert user of MS Excel, PowerPoint and SAP
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-mindedness, proactiveness, and ability to work independently in a fast paced and evolving environment
