Assistant Financial Controller

Responsibilities

• Carrying out the SFC Fixed Asset related activities for Germany g. month-end, quarter-end close process for SFC Fixed Asset activities, processing additions, disposals, depreciation etc
• Co-ordinating and completing the associated processes for fixed assets across teamsg. commentaries, depreciation bookings, managing overall Iglo Germany fixed asset related issues
• Contributing as required to the wider team objectives of the German FRC team. These could be ad-hoc, could change over time and will be additional to the fixed asset activities
• Contributing to improvements in processes especially in the fixed assets areag. standardising fixed asset approach with other clusters, changing processes for VIM environment, resolving P&L GLs 42503010 and 42603010 account imbalance, etc.
• Managing external audit requirements for fixed assets

Qualifications

• Part/fully qualified accountant
• German language skills would be an advantage
• SAP and especially Fixed Asset SAP skills would be an advantage
