Assistant Food Safety Executive

Job Summary:

The Assistant Food Safety Executive is responsible for ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards within the manufacturing facility. This role supports the implementation and continuous improvement of GMP, HACCP, and ISO systems, while working closely with production to maintain product quality, safety, and process efficiency.

Job Description:

1. Food Safety, Compliance &Systems

• Ensure effectiveness of plant GMP and personal hygiene standards
• Maintain HACCP and ISO systems and drive continuous improvement
• Conduct in-house quality and product wholesomeness analysis

2. Quality Assurance & ProductControl

• Investigate and follow up on QA/QC complaints and feedback
• Assist in product evaluation, shelf-life monitoring, batch sampling, and computing of results

3. Audits, Inspections &Continuous Improvement

• Conduct regular audits and inspections of manufacturing processes, facilities, and products
• Identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards
• Communicate with production on corrective and preventive actions

4. Process Documentation &Control

• Assist in maintaining, reviewing, and updating process flow, SOPs, and product specifications

5. Pest Control, Coordination & Administrative Support

• Ensure effectiveness and follow up monthly pest control matters and service reports
• Provide administrative support
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Food Science or related field
• Certified in HACCP and ISO Internal Audit
• Relevant experience in HACCP, ISO 9001 and Food Safety is preferred
• Good analytical skill and detail-oriented
• A person of high integrity and good interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and as well as a team
• Willing to travel to Changi for work
• Willing to work rotational 5 days and 6 days work week
