Assistant Front of House Manager

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Assistant Front of House Manager for Palazzo Diner. We’re aiming to be the best diner in town and need the best people to help us get there.

You will supervise, coordinate, and handle the daily service of FoH. The Assistant Front of House Manager works closely with the Front of House Manager and leads in a variety of tasks:

  • Supervise the daily service and FoH team in the restaurant

  • Step up and run the floor when the Front of House Manager is off

  • Responsible for Palazzo Diner’s appearance, reputation, and standards alongside the Front of House Manager

  • Control and direct the drink preparation process and ordering, and any other activities in relation here to

  • Ensure quality of the servings by controlling drinks and dishes before they reach the guest

  • Plan orders of equipment or ingredients according to identified shortages

  • Remedy any problems or defects and arrange for repairs with suppliers when necessary

  • Participate in hiring, managing, and training the FoH team

  • Help plan and fill in the work schedule and approve hours

  • Acquire and utilize managerial tools based on our data-driven operations

  • Oversee the work of your team and estimate your team’s workload

  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards

  • Foster a work climate of cooperation and respect between members of the team

  • Work hours are mainly in the evenings and weekends
