Supports the General Manager in overseeing the Club’s overall operations, member experience and business performance, while providing leadership and coordination across departments to ensure consistent service and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
● Support the General Manager in the overall management and day-to-day operations of the Club.
● Provide leadership and direction to department heads and operational teams to maintain high standards of service and member experience.
● Maintain a visible presence across the Club and engage with members to understand their needs, preferences and feedback.
● Coordinate across Operations, Membership, Events, Entertainment, Wine, Beverage, Kitchen, Marketing and other departments to ensure smooth Club operations.
● Monitor operational performance, service standards, manpower requirements and departmental priorities.
● Support department heads in resolving operational challenges, member concerns and service issues.
● Assist with the implementation of business plans, operational initiatives and Club-wide projects.
● Review operational and management reports and support the General Manager in identifying areas for improvement.
● Support budget management, cost control, revenue opportunities and overall commercial performance.
● Ensure appropriate Club policies, SOPs, safety requirements and operational controls are implemented and maintained.
● Lead, coach and support department heads and managers in developing effective and accountable teams.
● Act on behalf of the General Manager on operational matters when required and within delegated authority.
Requirements
● Significant management experience in private members’ clubs, luxury hospitality, premium hotels, F&B or similar service environments.
● Proven experience managing multi-department operations and leading managers and teams.
● Strong member relations, service excellence and operational management capability.
● Good commercial awareness with experience in budgeting, cost management and business performance.
● Strong leadership, communication, decision-making and stakeholder-management skills.
● High level of professionalism, judgement, discretion and accountability.
