About the Role
Support the GM in driving guest satisfaction, leading the team, protecting financial performance, and upholding Courtyard by Marriott standards at a hands-on select-service/extended-stay property. Ideal for someone ready to grow into a GM role within JSK.
Responsibilities
• Assist GM with day-to-day operations.
• Lead/coach department heads and front-line associates.
• Monitor and improve guest satisfaction scores and online reviews.
• Support financial performance via revenue management, cost control, and budgeting.
• Ensure brand standards, safety, and company policy compliance.
• Oversee scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Handle escalated guest issues.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and talent development.
• Participate in inspections, audits, and continuous improvement.
• Act as GM when needed.
Required
• HS diploma/equivalent (associate/bachelor’s preferred).
• 2–3 years hotel leadership (supervisor, department head, or AGM).
• Strong operations, guest service, and financial knowledge.
• Proven team leadership; excellent communication and problem-solving.
• Flexible shifts including evenings/weekends/holidays; physical ability to stand/walk and lift 25–30 lbs.
Preferred
• Specific Marriott brand experience and systems knowledge.
• Prior AGM or strong department-head experience with P&L exposure.
• Bilingual.
