We are looking for an experienced restaurant manager to help the General Manager in directing daily business operations. The Assistant General Manager should be experienced in a supervisory role, be able to confidently deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and clearly communicate business objectives.
The AGM must be able to competently perform duties in the absence of the General Manager.
The AGM must be able to motivate and positively influence staff, especially during times of low morale. A top candidate for this position must have strong leadership and organizational skills.
The AGM should be fun, approachable and maintain a positive work environment while upholding service and food standards.
Requirements:
Must love the restaurant business
Nurturing positive working relationships with stuff
Addressing any issues in a timely fashion
Setting a good example for staff
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Cooperating with the General Manager and assisting with anything from project planning to staff management
Good observation skills
Literacy in computers and basic math skills
Strong problem-solving abilities
Must possess strong floor presence and customer service skills
Has experience with scheduling
Has experience with profit and loss statements
Key Responsibilities
Assist key employees and leadership team in achieving their goals.
Support the General Manager in all aspects of restaurant operations.
Lead the team to culinary, customer satisfaction, and financial success.
Identify and develop future leaders within the team.
Partner with the Recruiter and General Manager to maintain appropriate staffing levels through:
