What You Will Do
As Assistant General Manager, you will partner with the General Manager to oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including:
- Front Office Operations
- Housekeeping
- Food & Beverage
- Banquets & Events
- Guest Services
- Team Member Development
- Revenue Performance
- Brand Compliance & Quality Assurance
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily hotel operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
- Maintain Hilton brand standards and operational excellence.
- Drive guest satisfaction scores and online reputation management.
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, training, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Coach and develop team members through performance management and accountability.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and cost controls.
- Monitor hotel KPIs including occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, guest satisfaction, and profitability.
- Resolve guest concerns and service recovery situations professionally.
- Support revenue generation strategies and sales initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and Hilton requirements.
- Conduct property inspections and maintain cleanliness and presentation standards.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hotel management or hospitality leadership experience preferred.
- Previous experience as an Assistant General Manager, Operations Manager, Front Office Manager, Rooms Division Manager, or Department Head preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to lead teams and deliver exceptional guest service.
- Experience with hotel property management systems (PMS).
- Knowledge of hotel financials, labor management, budgets, and revenue management.
- Hilton experience preferred but not required.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred.
