Day to day: site and subsurface characterization for geotechnical/environmental projects, monitoring contractor work during construction, managing project budgets and deliverables, and evaluating seismic hazards such as liquefaction.
Assistant Geotechnical Project Manager
A well-known large Engineering consulting company is hiring for a Assistant Geotechnical Project Manager. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting site and subsurface characterization for environmental and geotechnical projects
- Monitoring contractor's geotechnical and environmental-related activities during construction.
- Managing financial and technical aspects of project tasks including client deliverables to meet technical, quality, budgetary and scheduling requirements
- Evaluate seismic hazards including liquefaction.
- Plan and direct geotechnical field observation and testing programs.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in civil engineering or geological engineering
- More than 5 years of experience in evaluation of geotechnical and environmental data, conducting geotechnical analyses
- Experience in directing geotechnical field observation and testing programs.
