Assistant / Infrastructure Manager

The Infrastructure Manager plays a key role in designing, deploying, and managing scalable and secure infrastructure solutions, ensuring seamless integration across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing scalable, secure infrastructure blueprints for cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments, including zero-trust security frameworks (network segmentation, IAM, secrets management).

  • Create and manage architecture documentation, technical specifications, and diagrams.

  • Analyse change requests and propose architectural adjustments.

  • Enforce architecture standards and lead capacity planning to ensure optimal performance and scalability.

  • Conduct performance tuning to enhance efficiency and reliability of high-availability systems.

  • Manage third-party vendors, procurement, and integration processes.

  • Facilitate technical discussions and address customer inquiries for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar or related role, or at least 2 years of proven experience in delivering large-scale Singapore Government project implementations.

  • Demonstrates strong technical knowledge in infrastructure technologies, including networking, firewalls, load balancers, backup and restoration, virtualization, hyperconverged systems, cloud-native stacks, and operating systems.

  • Experienced in enterprise Linux systems with hands-on exposure to air-gapped deployments, secure configuration, offline patching, and compliance hardening.

  • Solid understanding in Cloud-Native technologies and Kubernetes ecosystems and secure secrets management with encryption at rest using KMS solutions.

  • Solid understanding of IT risk management, cybersecurity frameworks, security protocols, and cryptography.

  • Effective communicator, able to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Capable of preparing comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications and detailed diagrams such as network architectures, data flow charts, and security control mappings.

  • Continuously learning and staying updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to contribute to future-ready solutions.

  • Security background or experience is a strong advantage.

  • CISSP certification (preferred but not mandatory).
