Assistant IT Manager (Infrastructure & Systems)
Salary Range: $4,500 - $5,000
Working Days: Monday - Friday
Working Hours: 8.30am to 5.30pm
Location: West (Toh Guan)
Responsibilities
- Manage the IT team, oversee daily activities, and support major IT project management.
- Oversee IT infrastructure and work with the IT team to maintain an effective IT environment.
- Coordinate and facilitate IT matters with HQ and internal stakeholders.
- Design, implement, and maintain IT environments.
- Manage risks, ensure timely project delivery, and improve processes related to IT responsibilities.
- Support the Sales team in ensuring tender proposals comply with required network specifications and review proposed system network designs and configurations.
- Support Project Engineers in setting up and configuring system network components, including IP cameras, Storage Area Networks (SAN), servers, switches, routers, workstations, and other peripherals.
- Work with Service Engineers to identify and resolve network-related hardware and software issues.
- Manage office network administration, including the setup, maintenance, and security of network infrastructure.
- Manage office system administration, including servers, storage, and software applications.
- Provide technical support to users and troubleshoot IT issues.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in IT or related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in IT administration roles.
- Possess knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and IT security controls.
- Knowledge of Promax/Virtual Environment and Microsoft Business Central will be an added advantage.
