Assistant IT Manager
We are seeking a technically strong Assistant IT Manager with deep expertise in systems administration, network management, and enterprise-level support to enhance our back?office operations and ensure seamless technology performance across the organization to lead our pub/bar operations. Key Responsibilities * Oversee daily IT operations across venues, ensuring all systems, networks, and hardware function smoothly. * Provide technical support to staff, troubleshoot issues, and ensure minimal downtime during business operations. * Hands?on expertise with Infrasys POS is mandatory; strong knowledge of other industry?leading POS systems is an advantage. * Manage, support, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, firewalls, MS365, and Windows Server environments with a high level of technical proficiency. * Maintain and monitor POS systems, back?office systems, digital ordering platforms, and payment terminals. * Coordinate with external vendors for system maintenance, upgrades, and issue resolution. * Ensure data security, backup procedures, and compliance with company IT policies. * Support software rollouts, system integrations, and new technology implementations across venues. * Maintain IT asset inventory, licensing records, and documentation. * Train staff on basic IT procedures, cybersecurity awareness, and system usage. * Lead and support IT project management activities, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business needs. * Assist the IT Manager in planning and executing IT projects, upgrades, and improvements.
* Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. * Minimum 3–5 years of IT support or system administration experience, preferably in hospitality, F&B, or retail. * Strong knowledge of Windows OS, networking (LAN/WAN), firewalls, and server environments. * Hands?on experience with POS systems, payment terminals, and hospitality software (e.g., Micros, Simphony, or similar). * Familiarity with cloud services, email administration, and backup solutions. * Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast?paced environment. * Excellent communication skills and a service?oriented mindset. * Willingness to travel frequently across venues within the UAE. * Ability to work flexible hours when required, including support during venue events or system outages. * Team?player with strong organizational and documentation skills.
