Assistant IT Manager

Our client, a well-established food manufacturing company based in Melaka, is seeking an experienced Assistant IT Manager to support and lead its IT function. This role will be responsible for overseeing IT infrastructure, driving cybersecurity initiatives, and managing day-to-day IT operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor the IT team to ensure efficient IT service delivery.
Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud environments, and end-user systems.
Develop and implement cybersecurity policies, controls, and best practices.
Ensure system security, availability, backup, and disaster recovery readiness.
Oversee IT projects, system enhancements, and vendor management.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to support operational and strategic IT needs.
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Proven leadership experience in managing IT teams and projects.
Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, network administration, and cybersecurity.
Experience with firewalls, endpoint protection, backup solutions, and security compliance.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
