Assistant Maintenance Engineer- Lithography

Summary

Maintains and troubleshoots semiconductor manufacturing equipment (CVD tools) during preventive and corrective maintenance cycles, including mechanical, electrical, and software diagnostics.

YOUR ROLE

  • To work as AME (Assistant Maintenance Engineer) to ensure reliability, availability, and optimal performance of specialized production equipment.
  • Plan and execute preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for equipment failures and recurring technical issues.
  • Monitor and optimize machine performance, industrial parameters, and maintenance efficiency.
  • Coordinate with production, engineering, and quality teams to improve equipment reliability and productivity.
  • Analyze maintenance data and recommend continuous improvement initiatives for process and equipment enhancement.
  • Support equipment upgrades, modifications, installation, and commissioning activities.
  • Develop and maintain maintenance procedures, checklists, and technical documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards during all maintenance activities.
  • Support spare parts management, vendor coordination, and maintenance planning activities.


YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • At least 5 years of working experience in equipment maintenance within manufacturing, semiconductor, automation, or industrial environments.
  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Strong knowledge of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance methodologies.
  • Experience in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation systems.
  • Familiarity with PLC systems, industrial sensors, motors, drives, and industrial control systems.
  • Experience in root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, 5 Why, or Fishbone analysis.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals.
  • Knowledge, strong analytical and problem-solving skills on power supply concept, heater control systems and related electrical circuits.
  • Demonstrated drive for equipment reliability and project improvements is an added advantage.
  • Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Willingness to support 12HR shift work, standby duties, or overtime when required.
