Job Summary:
We are looking for a hands-on Assistant Maintenance Supervisor to support the maintenance and reliability of our manufacturing equipment. This role is suitable for an experienced maintenance professional who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting while taking on team leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment breakdowns.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance of manufacturing machinery.
- Work closely with technicians to resolve equipment issues and minimise downtime.
- Support root cause analysis and equipment reliability improvements.
- Assist in equipment installation, modification and improvement projects.
- Support the Maintenance Supervisor in coordinating daily maintenance activities.
- Ensure maintenance work complies with safety and company requirements.
Requirements:
- Relevant technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong hands-on troubleshooting and breakdown repair skills for manufacturing machinery.
- Good knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Supervisory, team-leading or Senior Technician experience is an advantage.
- Must be willing to work hands-on with the maintenance team.
