Assistant Manager, Agile Scrum Master
About the role
Assistant Manager, Agile Scrum Master / Delivery Lead responsible for facilitating Agile ceremonies, coordinating cross-functional teams, and driving successful project delivery within an organization.
Key responsibilities
Facilitate standard Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
Coordinate with business, technology, and vendor teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Track sprint progress, velocity, deliverables, and project milestones using Jira/Confluence.
Identify, manage, and escalate risks, issues, dependencies, and blockers to ensure uninhibited team throughput.
Support backlog grooming and prioritization activities in collaboration with Product Owners and key stakeholders.
Monitor overall delivery status and provide regular progress reports and updates to the PMO.
Drive continuous process improvements and foster Agile best practices across delivery squads.
Coordinate release planning and implementation activities seamlessly across cross-functional teams and external vendors.
About you
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related disciplines.
3–5 years of project delivery experience as a Scrum Master, Agile PM, or Delivery Lead.
Prior exposure to Financial Services, Insurance, or Large Enterprise Digital Transformation in HK is highly preferred.
Active Agile certification (CSM, PSM I, or equivalent).
Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
Demonstrated ability to manage vendors and coordinate across business and technology domains.
Excellent command of spoken and written English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a plus.
